Upon authorization from the Town Council following the recommendation of the chief law enforcement officer as provided in §12.03A.030(4), above, the Town Attorney may initiate an action in any court of competent jurisdiction to abate a chromic nuisance property, to impose penalties pursuant to this chapter, to seek alternative remedies under Town or state laws and/or seek any other relief authorized by law.
