It shall be unlawful for any person to:

(1) Drive any automobile or other vehicle over or across any fire hose while it is being used by members of the fire department or by any duly authorized officials or employees of the Town;

(2) Follow at a distance of less than 1 town block any fire fighting equipment answering an alarm, or, without permission of an authorized official, approach within less than 1 town block any fire being controlled by the fire department, unless such person is affiliated with the fire department;

(3) Molest, injure, or tamper with any town fire plug, or fire hydrant, PROVIDED, authorized fire department members, the street commissioner, and water commissioner, in accordance with their official duties, shall be exempt from this provision;

(4) Turn in, or cause to be turned in, a false fire alarm, PROVIDED, such person shall not be deemed to have turned in a false fire alarm if the person had reasonable cause to believe that an unlawful or accidental fire existed at the time the alarm was turned in:

(5) Permit, or create, an accumulation of debris, trash, or other cast-off materials on premises owned or controlled by such person which may be reasonably calculated to create a fire hazard. Such accumulation of debris, trash, or other cast-off materials is hereby declared to be a nuisance and, if not removed or otherwise disposed of within 5 days after notice served by the Town Marshal, the nuisance may be abated in any manner permitted by law.
