If the Town Council finds that the applicant has satisfied the requirements of this Chapter for a Solicitor’s License, it shall direct the Town Clerk to issue a Solicitor’s License to the applicant upon receipt of the appropriate fee (as set forth in GMC 5.01.060, above). If the Town Council finds that the applicant has not satisfied the requirements of this Chapter for a Solicitor’s permit, it shall deny the application. In no event shall approval of the issuance of a Solicitor’s License by the Town Council be intended or construed in any manner whatsoever as an endorsement of the services, property, or goods offered by the applicant. Likewise, in no event shall such approval be construed to provide a basis for any claims against the Town or any of its officers, employees, or agents by any person(s) or entity for injuries, damage or loss suffered by any person(s) or entity arising out of the applicant’s activities within the Town of Garfield.
