The Uniform Plumbing Code, excepting chapter 11 thereof, published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical officials, is hereby adopted by this reference in its most current form, and as it may be hereafter revised and republished as if fully set out in this Chapter, PROVIDED, notwithstanding any wording in this Uniform Plumbing Code, nothing in this Code shall apply to the installation of any gas piping, water heaters, or vents for water heaters .
