Before undertaking the duties of the office, any Deputy Town Marshal or other assistants shall first take the constitutional oath of office and shall execute a bond, satisfactory to the Council, payable to the Town, for the sum of $500.00. This bond shall be conditioned upon the Deputy or assistant’s faithful performance of the duties of office, and shall be paid by the Town and filed with the Clerk. (Ord. 9-N, §3, 1947)
