Before undertaking the duties of office, the Clerk/Treasurer shall take the constitutional oath of office and shall execute a bond satisfactory to the Council. The bond shall be for the sum of $500.00, payable to the Town, and conditioned upon the faithful performance of all of the duties of office. This bond shall be filed with the Mayor.
